Digital Empowerment of rural women is an important tool for transforming their dreams into tangible ones. Digital Empowerment Foundation, an Indian NGO collaborated with Facebook India to bridge this gap between the tribal women and digitalization. As a solution to this, they introduced inter and intra mentorship programs in several locations. These programs were so effective that the women now know about a variety of apps on mobile phones. For instance, one of them has learned how to stitch a blouse at home after watching a youtube tutorial!
